About me

Welcome!

My name is Katalin Nagy. From 31. October 2013 I have started my spine yoga lessons in Pápa. After a year experience I started the "Shiva yogaisland". I consider that  the continous learning either in theory and/or in practice, so I educate myself permanently. I have taken part in the presentations of some well-known physiotherupeatics. Addictionally I regularly attent to professional peformances and, I study from the Medicine publisher's books in autididact way.

I had the honour to try more of the forms of  doing yoga, such as, himalayan yoga tradition, many kinds of Hatha yoga like vinyasa flow, and astanga. I found something in all kinds of yoga form what is considered to be good, (from time to time I have found some bad ones either, but I omit them). These elements are harmonized in my lessons, according to my intuition, my studies, and it  can be shaped according to the claims.
From "this mixture" it became my own, in my opinion, the yoga's branches are not necessary to be separated the, because they are complemented one other superbly. The tree of yoga is one, but it is given the chance  for everybody to improve a yoga' branch by themselves, which is the nearest to the practicer's induviduality.

I try to find what is the one for which my trainers are needed for the practising yoga, instead of adapting to practice exercise rows. The prevention is very important,  to adjust practicing to the everyday way of life of my trainers. It is needed to have a deep anatomical knowledge that doing yoga should effect as a therapy.

I partly started doing yoga to develope my personality, on the other hand I had been facninated the spectacular postures and what there is behind them. Regular practicing gave me possibility to balance my mentality additionaly my posture has been improved a lot with doing it. In the yoga I was caught the watching inside, individual development without the feeling of compulsory performance and the necessary competition. As a result I became calmer and more active.

Once I visited into the Krisna valley, I noticed there, that relatively few things were developed, additionally they were created perfectly, and the place and people living there could develop continuously beside this.
This principle step by step declare me, what the spine yoga can express perfectly, contraversary the nowadays used principle that in a short time we want to get our aims faster we want to have more flexibility, and we are in a hurry in everything. It can cause stress.

I may declare that I respect the LIFE infinitely (the intelligent energy from which the flowers are growing, the wounds are healing, what can create a baby within 9 months). Walking in the nature is one of my hobbies, (mostly barefoot, when it is allowed by the soil... :)), I can really feel free and in a secure. It clears me fantastically, and it makes me think about my daily problem, as well as running.

Running is considered by many people as a boring activity, but I think it is the most exciting one when you  may coast along with them thoughts. I can observe my breathing, my posture, and my muscles meanwhile, I can enjoy my relaxation and my meditation during running. For developing of my self-knowledge it is an excellent way.

I become ovo-lacto vegetarian, when I was 10 years old, sympathyse with animals. (I eat milk and egg, but I do not eat any fish). I have loved reading the books about personality development, psychology, self-knowledge, medtiational, spiritual life, herbals, and anatomy. At this time I turned a page rarely into Bulla András' yoga school book, which was difficult to do yoga from it.

A couple of years later I bought some yoga DVDs. The DVDs of Wai Lana yoga were able to transmit the feeling of relaxed state, that is why I started dealing with the yoga more deeply way. Sometimes I dealt with it more times, sometimes less one and I felt the difference. Simply I felt better in that period when I did it. (Although I know that some exercises were not so advantageous anatomically, for me....) It turned into the part of my life either in practice or learning yoga, I can say that I got used to doing it... :)

It can influence largely an instructor or practiser of yoga, (mainly a beginner one) who can learn from and on which way. I try to learn from certified instructors. I aspire to know theories and systems of the origine of human and natural processes, without any kinds of excessive esoterism. I can not accept anything without thinking and I do not deny the opportunity of existing. I consider that establishing of a filter is important, which stems from the individuality and independent thinking.
